The SBYC Community Sailing Foundation was created and established in order to facilitate opportunities for young people who may not otherwise have access to on the water activities by providing funding to scholarship programs for participation in Youth Sailing Programs around the Bay Area. Additional activities of the Foundation may include, but are not limited to, capital acquisition programs for additional on the water resources such as pfds, wetsuits, helmuts, sailboats, support boats, and other training as outlined and approved by the Board.
The SBYC Community Sailing Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) with the IRS, the CA Franchise Tax Board, The CA Registry of Charities and the CA Secretary of State, Business division.
